Images on the waveform analysis page have been
regenerated at a consistent scale to better illustrate different running
times for the same song.
The Chronology and Roadshow pages each
have multiple new and revised entries, as well as links for navigating to a
given year. Duplicate and obsolete references have been cleaned up across
the site, including in the Bibliography, and a few new
quotations have been added to the song files.

The Chronology page, while still incomplete, is now
complete enough that I don’t mind people looking at it. Please send all
corrections and notable additions to z@hddb.xyz.
I also did some much-needed copyediting on the Apocrypha
and Personae pages, added many cross-reference links (but
never enough) and fixed some minor CSS issues that were majorly annoying me.
And I finally officially documented the very first recording ever made by
Sean, Aaron, Jeff, and Evan together: a 17-minute cover of the Velvet
Underground’s “What Goes On”.

Nothing big to report, but I’ve finally found time for this project again.
Along with some small corrections and cleanup, I’ve added more citation
links to a number of pages, including the Bibliography,
as well as new and improved annotations on several songs.

I have added a large number of notes and references to various songs and
their lyrics, including quite a few more gems from dchris’s research.
I’ve also edited and reorganized existing material, touched up a few
design elements here and there, improved citations on the Roadshow page, and
fixed a bunch of typos.
There is a now a page that details how to contribute to the HDDB
(if you are so inclined) and what kind of contributions I’m interested in.
The email address remains z@hddb.xyz.

The magnificent dchris has donated a wealth of research to the HDDB,
including several deep-cut interviews with Sean, fond reflections by John
Roderick about the 2001 demo sessions, insights into the 1993–94 era of HD,
new (to me) details about a few apocrypha, trivia and
references for dozens of songs, and more. I’ll be incorporating that material
into the site over the next little while.
I’ve also added new information, annotations, and quotes from band members
to various songs and albums, added and improved links and citations across the
entire site, and—most significantly—updated the Roadshow page with
primary sources and tour dates through 2001.
Post-reunion shows will be reviewed and researched next.
